This class is designed for toddlers ages walking – 3 years, accompanied by a parent or guardian. This lively and engaging class offers an opportunity for parents and their children to bond, have fun, and explore basic dance movements and rhythms in a supportive and playful environment. Through fun activities and creative movement exercises, children develop their motor skills and musicality. It’s a joyful way to experience the magic of dance together, fostering early confidence and a love for movement.
Intro To Dance (3-5 Years of Age)
6 Week Sessional - 45 Minutes Class
$130.00 + GST
This class is perfect for young dancers (ages 3-5) who are just beginning their dance journey. Intro to dance offers a fun and encouraging environment where children can explore various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, and creative movement. Through playful exercises and
basic dance techniques, dancers will develop coordination, balance, and rhythm while building confidence. This focus is fostering a love for dance, creativity, and self-expression.

Open Ballet (Adult)
10 Week Sessional - 60 Minutes Class

Have you ever dreamed of dancing? Wanted to feer the grace and joy of ballet? Maybe you danced at one point in your life and miss taking class? Join Ms. Shea for some "You-Time" to leave the worries of the day behind and be present in your body. Connect to your breath, the music, and increase your strength as you improve posture and move with grace. Whether you are new to ballet or a seasoned dancer, Ms. Shea will offer layers in each class to help meet you where you feel most comfortable. Release your inner ballerina.

Why should I put my child in dance?
Dance is a great way to keep your child active in a fun and positive environment!
Dance has physical, mental and emotional benefits including instilling confidence, getting exercise, helping develop self-awareness, learning discipline, helping self-expression and developing social skills all while learning proper dance technique. The benefits are endless!
How long are classes?
Typically classes are 45 minutes and students attend class once per week. Many students will take more than one style and many classes run back to back to make driving easier for parents
How long is the dance season?
The dance season is a 34-week program with classes running from September through June. Classes are cancelled on holidays.
What should my child wear?
Students do not need a specific uniform; however, they will need dance attire appropriate for the class they are attending – i.e. bodysuit, tights and ballet slippers for Ballet. Please see the class schedules/Registration page for more attire information. We have a used dance shoe/attire book at the studio so parents can opt to buy items second hand, making dance very affordable!
Is there a performance?
Yes! All classes perform in the year end recital in June (students can opt out of the recital – please be sure to notify the office if this is the case)
What are all of the fees associated with recreational dance?
There will be a one-time registration fee of $35.00 for single student or $50.00 per family. Monthly tuition fees start at $51+GST/month and the program runs for 10 months. Tuition fees are paid on the 25th of each month.
Photos at picture day are optional and start at $15/package
Costumes for the recital are in the $90-110 range and all measuring, ordering and alterations are included
